BENGALURU: COMED-K(Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental, Karnataka) entrance test for engineering courses across private colleges will be conducted on May 7, 2017 (Sunday).
The Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering CollegesAssociation (KUPECA) announced on Thursday that students, who have completed their 10+2, can apply for the entrance test, which will be the gateway to 150 engineering colleges in the state. Candidates can apply for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) as well as Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) courses.
The test will be computer-based and conducted across the country on the same day. A detailed calendar of events and the information brochure will be hosted on the COMEDK website.
The test was until last year a gateway to medical and dental colleges as well. However, with the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 being the single channel to medical and dental colleges, COMEDK will host entrance only for engineering and architecture courses.
